A Mission for Michael (AMFM) is a residential treatment center that specializes in treating mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe anxiety disorder, addiction, and more. After the loss of a beloved son due to mental illness, A mission for Michael was founded to prevent other families from experiencing the same tragedy. Successfully treating mental illness is AMFM's personal mission. AMFM accomplishes this mission by providing intensive focus on clinical, evidence-based treatment along with personalized and compassionate care. Guided by a team of experts, AM FM will create tailored treatment plans that are unique to the client's needs. Using evidence-based treatment modalities, they offer a wide variety of therapies including TMS treatment, dialectical behavioral therapies, meditation and mindfulness, Tai Chi, acupuncture, yoga, and more. In addition to therapy, AMFM offers a weekly family program that provides families with the support and education needed to achieve healing throughout the recovery process. The beautiful, private home is located in northern Virginia. The gorgeous home offers elegance and comfort, along with countryside views and plenty of space throughout. On site, chefs prepare 3 meals per day that provide optimal nutrition during recovery.
